During this time, the oven should be heating up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Place small, 1/3 teaspoons of butter into each muffin cup.  Put the butter in the oven for 2 minutes so that it is melted on the surfaces of the 12 muffin cups.  Now, evenly distribute the batter into each muffin cup.  Sprinkle the tops with sugar and put in the oven.
